“He deserves it. It’s his work.”
These were the exact words of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte last April 08 2017 during the donning of rank ceremony for the newly promoted Presidential Security Group Commander BGEN LOPE C DAGOY AFP after their arrival from Davao City at the Kalayaan Lounge, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
Upon their arrival, the newly promoted commander was greeted by the PSG personnel and staff who were very proud of his another milestone. His family and closest friends were also present in the area to witness his ceremonial promotion. President Duterte was assisted by BGEN DAGOY’s wife in the donning of his rank.
The event was followed by a simple celebration prepared by PSG Troopers. BGEN DAGOY is set to attend more engagements upon his assumption in PSG as the Unit Commander.
