PSG empowers, recognizes significant roles of women

The women sector of the Presidential Security Group composed of enlisted personnel from the AFP and PNP, civilian employees, and wives of the Enlisted Personnel gathered together for an afternoon of women empowerment session through a “Meet and Greet”, with Mrs. Emiliana J. Zagala, Head of PSG Ladies Club, yesterday.
The activity is meant to recognize the significant role of women in PSG who have valuable contributions to the successful mandate of the Command, to include the spouses of PSG troopers, who are significant factors of their husband’s excellent performance at work. It is also Mrs. Zagala’s simple way of reaching out to her fellow women, as a mother and a sister, to personally meet everyone and establish a good relationship in order to strengthen the sisterhood and camaraderie inside the PSG community.
The activity was organized by Mrs. Zagala through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel (G1) with the support of PSG’s Civil Military Operations Office (G7) and Headquarters and Headquarters Service Battalion (HHSBn).
Throughout the activity, Mrs. Zagala acknowledged the significant roles and contributions of the attendees and gave them updates on the latest implemented projects under her leadership as the Head of the PSG Ladies Club, such as the vaccination and distribution of multivitamins and the free scholarship programs for PSG children dependents. Ongoing efforts and future activities were also mentioned.
Mrs. Zagala appreciated the warmth of the women in PSG who also had their great time as they eagerly look forward to their future activities.
