BGEN BAUTISTA gets emotional as he bids goodbye to PSG Troopers

“Ito ang staff at personnel na sobrang napalapit sa akin.”

These were the exact words of former PSG Commander BGEN ROLANDO JOSELITO D BAUTISTA AFP during the fellowship lunch with the officers at Malago Golf Club yesterday, March 23, 2016, before he stepped down from his position in the PSG to assume the leadership of the 1st Infantry Division of the Philippine Army.

BGEN BAUTISTA was teary-eyed when he appreciated everyone’s innovation, creativity, and promptness in accomplishing every task and project. He also said proudly, “I have set of officers and staff na sabihin mo lang yung intent mo alam na nila agad kung ano ang gagawin.”

PSG Troopers expressed their gratitude to their former Commander by showing an audio-visual presentation as tribute to him during the event. Additionally, he was awarded with the Presidential Flight Crew Badge with One Star with Wings from the Philippine Air Force by BGEN ALLEN T PADERES AFP, Wing Commander, 250th Presidential Airlift Wing for providing flight safety and security to the President and other VVIPs.

This was his last lunch with the men of PSG as the Group Commander. COL LOPE C DAGOY (MNSA) PA, who was the Senior Military Assistant to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, took over his position yesterday as the Group Commander of Presidential Security Group.
