BGEN DAGOY: No room for errors on ASEAN 2017

The Presidential Security Group (PSG) troopers were reminded by BGEN LOPE C DAGOY AFP, the Group Commander, to do their best in protecting the delegates of the upcoming ASEAN Summit 2017 which will be held in the country.

During the blessing of troops and vehicles that will be used on ASEAN Summit 2017 earlier today, BGEN DAGOY said he expects everyone to give their hundred per cent effort and support to secure the safety of every head of state/country leader.

Aside from President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the ASEAN Chairman for this year, leaders from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam are expected to attend the Summit on April 26-29, 2017. The PSG troopers are in charge of the security of the heads of state/country during the conduct of the Summit.

BGEN DAGOY also encouraged his troopers to be team players because the success of PSG is dependent on the relationship built among troopers in their respective units.

This is the first ASEAN Summit for this year and will be followed by another one before the year ends.
