Through joint efforts of the Civil Military Operations School of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (CMOS-AFP) and Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations (CMO) of Presidential Security Group, students of Strategic CMO Officers Online Course Class 12-17 were successfully educated on Strategic Communication (STRATCOM) at Camp Emilio Aguinaldo.
Atty. Oscar S. Moreno, Mayor of Cagayan de Oro City serves as the guest speakers, while LTC EDGARDO TALAROC JR from the Department of National Defense and LTC MICHAEL T AQUINO of the Presidential Security Group were the lecturers.
Through strategic communication (STRATCOM), goals are being achieved by a process of relaying messages to the target audience in such a way that the image of an organization or institution is never left out by the sender.
Startegic Communication (STRATCOM) is of more importance nowadays when everyone is entitled to his own expression because of the advent of technology and the power of social media. This course is to educate the military, police, and other civilians affiliated with government agencies, in using their tools, as well as their voice and learned communication techniques, to advocate for good governance and public service.
