The Social Weather Stations (SWS) released the results of their survey conducted last 16-19 December 2018 which included the statistics that 94 out of 100 Filipinos believe that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte can fulfill his promises.
In the said survey, 13 percent of adult Filipinos believe that Duterte can fulfill “all or nearly all” of his promises, 35 percent said he can deliver on “most”, and 46 percent said that he can fulfill “a few” of these.
This is a big leap from the result of another SWS survey in September 2017 which showed that only 35 out of a hundred Filipinos believed that he could fulfill his promises.
President Duterte has also high net satisfaction ratings. “Excellent” rating for those who say he can fulfill “all or nearly all” of his promises is +85 whilst his “excellent” rating for those who say that he can fulfill “most” of his promises is +80.
The President’s ratings continue to be high nearly three years after taking his post as the chief executive of the country.
