Taal Volcano eruption victims received relief goods from the Presidential Security Group (PSG) and Department of Education (DepEd) – Rizal, last weekend, 25 January 2020.
Relief goods that included food, hygiene kits, and used clothes were distributed to less than a thousand evacuees situated at Nasugbu West Central School in Nasugbu, Batangas with the intent to at least ease their suffering from the catastrophic activity of Taal Volcano that started last 12 January 2020.
The displaced families who are forced to evacuate due to Taal’s unstable condition are from the communities within the danger zone. For this matter, PSG troopers and DepEd Rizal also delivered the bulk of relief goods at the Disaster Command Center located at Splendido Viewdeck, Laurel, Batangas.
This simple act of PSG, headed by COL RANDOLPH G CABANGBANG PA, Chief of Staff, and DepEd Rizal have somehow helped around 9,000 evacuees.
