The Presidential Security Group EP Ladies’ Club recently organized and held an event called “Run for the Ladies” as their way of showing support to the PSG Troopers’ families. The event served as a respite for them to have fun and spend quality time together as family.
The fun run also served as a fund raising event for the organizers. The proceeds of which will be used productively by setting up a Rice Cooperative inside the camp, support upcoming worthwhile projects of the Club such as a Feeding Program for PSG Troopers’ dependents 10 years old and below that will also be conducted within the month.
The fun run had three events wherein the participants chose from the 3, 6, and 9 kilometer distances. It started with a warm-up dance before the runners all lined up and ready to head to the finish line. It was apparent in the faces of the runners, most especially the little kids that they enjoyed themselves with their parents.
Truly, the said event made way for the families to bond and do health beneficial activities as well as teach their kids how to live an active lifestyle. Likewise, it also helped empower the PSG EP Ladies to conduct productive activities as complement to PSG’s morale and welfare projects for the Troopers.
