PRRD inspects Jolo bombing aftermath

A day after the twin bombing incident in Jolo, Sulu, the President himself decided to visit the area on 28 January 2019, Monday.

With a short notice, the PSG Troopers unflinchingly delivered its mandate amidst the chaos brought about by the incident.

They knew the danger that the President should face upon visiting Jolo, Sulu but they were ready as how they always are in every situation to ensure the President’s safety and security. President Rodrigo Roa Dutere successfully visited Jolo.

He was also able to talk to LTGEN ARNEL DELA VEGA AFP, Commander, Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) for directives regarding this above-mentioned blast at Mt. Carmel Cathedral that killed both uniformed personnel and innocent civilians.

“Basically, his marching order was all-out war [against] the terrorist groups. Run after those mass murderers and give justice to their victims,” said WestMinCom public affairs officer COL GERRY BESANA PA.

The PSG troopers stand by its call as protectors of the President. The entire Command is fully prepared at all times to ensure that no single threat can pass through in every presidential engagement and that the leader of our nation is safe and secured.
