In connection with Proclamation No. 559 signed by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the PSG troopers, through the initiative of Presidential Security Group Dental Dispensary (PSGDD), conducted a dental mission on its partner barangays namely Barangays 829 and 832.
LTC CLEOFE PULMANO DS PA, head of PSGDD, mentioned that this year’s theme is “Ang May Magandang Ngipin Ay May Magandang Kinabukasan.” This connotes that PSGDD is also dedicated to bringing not only good oral hygiene but also a brighter future through a community with bright smiles and sense of optimism, all with hopes for a better future.
More than a hundred patients were provided with free dental check-up as well as tooth extraction which included both children, adults, and even the elderly who are medically eligible to undergo tooth extraction.
She further said, “This is one of our activities among Malacañang barangays. Our objective here, of course, is to bring awareness on the importance of good oral hygiene not only to parents but also to every household member.”
The patients were further provided with free post-extraction medication.
PSG troopers support the celebration of National Dental Health Month and hope to serve more communities.
