Presidential Security Group (PSG) Chief of Staff, COL POTENCIANO CAMBA PA presided the change of command ceremony for the head of Office for Communications, Electronics, and Information System (CEIS) earlier today at PSG Headquarters, Malacaňang Park, Manila.
COL CAMBA, together with the G-Staff wholeheartedly welcomed MAJ PERCIVAL R ALCANAR PA—former OIC of 7SIG BN, ASR, PA—as the new head for CEIS as he formally joins the staff of PSG. In his speech, he mentioned, ” I’m a bit overwhelmed of the enormity and sophistication of the communications, electronics, and information system facilities and infrastructures that I am about to manage from this day onward.”
CEIS is the assigned unit for all matters with regard to communications and electronics for the PSG Command.
“Indeed, I am honored and privileged to be given this rare opportunity to be part of this elite unit, the Presidential Security Group, and now looking forward to carry out the mandate of my office, the OG6 PSG, the best way I can,” he added.
LTC ALFONSO D ILETO JR (SC) PA, outgoing head for CEIS, was also given recognition by the Command for his invaluable service in PSG from 11 July 2023 to 01 June 2023 and had serve under three Philippine Presidents.
