In view of the upcoming 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte set to be held on 22 July 2019, the House of Representatives released an advisory stating the implementation of a 3-day lockdown.
This is to make sure that no single threat would pass through as they try to impose the highest security protocol for the President of the Republic of the Philippines as well as other attendees on Monday.
“From July 19 to 21, 2019, the House of Representatives [HOR] will implement a complete “lock-out” policy wherein employees and non-employees of the House who have no official business inside the chamber shall not be allowed inside the HRep Complex,” the advisory said.
All other non-HOR personnel who need to enter its premises on said dates are required to wear their respective IDs.
