1st PSG Challenge

The Presidential Security Group held its 1st PSG Challenge at the PSG Headquarters, Malacañang Park, Manila on June 02, 2023.
The challenge is intended for PSG Troopers designed to test their physical and mental endurance. This is also part of the pre-anniversary activities in connection with the 125th PSG Anniversary on June 23, 2023 with the objective of enhancing the “Move, Shoot and Communicate” skills of the PSG Troopers and strengthening the PSG Units’ camaraderie while fostering good sportsmanship.
The challenge is a team competition with eight (8) stages of events namely: Rowing, Firing, Communication Skills, Driving, IED Search/Detection, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3) with CPR, Rappelling and Wall Climbing events. Each team is composed of five (5) member participants with one Officer, a Senior NCO and three more troopers which are open to any rank.
The Overall Champion for the PSG Challenge is the Special Reaction Unit (SRU) Team followed by the team from Presidential Escort Battalion (PEBn) as the 1st Runner up. The 2nd Runner up goes to Presidential Intelligence Company (PIC) Team. The winners will have a total of 20, 15, and 10 days of Rest and Recreation as their prize for the challenge which will surely provide them respite and meaningful time with their beloved families.
The said 1st PSG Challenge was organized by CDR JESS B PILAR PN, who is the Committee Chairman of the said event, at the same time, the designated Assistant Chief of Staff for Training and Education, (G8) of PSG. 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
