PSG Troopers cleans up Pasig River

The Presidential Security Group in partnership and coordination with Coast Guard Station Malacañang (CGSM) and Pasig River Coordinating and Management Office (PRCMO) conducted a massive clean-up drive along the stretch of Pasig River covering the PSG Compound and the palace to include its nearby areas this early morning.
Around 246 volunteer PSG troopers coming from the different PSG Units and Offices (Organic and Operational Control), Civilian Human Resource, PSG trooper dependents and applicants have participated.
This activity is one of the numerous activities of the Command in connection with its coming 125th Founding Anniversary celebration on June 23, 2023.
The Pasig River Clean Up Drive is a regular partnership activity of PSG and CGSM to spread awareness to the populace in preserving the marine environment while minimizing the effects of climate change and spreading the advocacy to alleviate flooding in areas encompassing the stretch of Ayala Bridge to Mabini Bridge and its nearby neighboring areas.
Around 150 sacks estimated to contain forty-two point seventy-seven (42.77) tons of silt and solid wastes from the river were collected by the volunteers.
The clean-up drive was organized by Team OG7, PSG headed by LCDR LADY CHATTERLY I ALVARO PN the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations, G7, PSG. 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
