Presidential Security Group Commander BGEN DAGOY’s rank as one-star general has just been confirmed by the Commission on Appointments (CA).
Last 08 April 2015, BGEN LOPE C DAGOY was promoted from being a colonel at Kalayaan Lounge in Pasay City upon arrival from Davao with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. His efforts and dedication to the service as a colonel were recognized, thus led to his promotion.

BGEN DAGOY was not able to attend the confirmation hearing by CA because he was with the President in Russia. Despite his absence, the entire PSG unit rejoices as the Commander’s promotion is approved.
